FPPSsm is a 16-hour Course approved by the Florida Department of Health and is offered by the Florida Swimming Pool Association.

Training and certification for Florida public pool operators.
Become eligible to service public pools and spas in the state of Florida. Certification is valid for 5 years. FP2S certificate program includes operation principles, basic calculations, safety, water illnesses, water chemistry, sanitation, specialty chemicals, special problems, water testing, circulation and filtration systems, spa pools and hot water chemistry. Developed by the Florida Swimming Pool Association and approved by the state of Florida Department of Health as an approved 16-hour Florida public pool service technician certification course.
This course is approved by the Florida Department of Health for student certification as a Public Pool Service Technician under Chapter 514, F.S., and Chapter 64E-9, F.A.C.
